20's or 50's

So, the forum is, for lack of better terms... dead. (HA, there is a better term, unresponcive, asleep, idle, ect.) But dead boards lead to the best RPs. Why? PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO RP ANYTHING, be it crack, ooc, ect. So I'm thinking, Hmm. We need an rp idea... plot, plot, hmm..... OH I'VE GOT IT!

Cliche though it is, it sounds fun to me. 1920's or 1950's, prohibion and flappers, gang wars and all the happy West Side Story-ish plots you can shove down your own throat. I think gangs work rather well what with Mello's mafia (if we had a Mello, that is.) and of course the classic split beween Kira and L's view of justice. It's just screaming, hey let's be adolecent gangsters and meet in the streets at midnight and beat echother up! (And dance while doing it.) Don't you think?

Okay, okay, oka-ey, I get it. I'm being a tad on the rediculus side right now, and... I am. I'm stalling to write a 4-5 page paper due at midnight tonight that I've done utterly no reserch for up untill... well today. Actually, Misa, I like the idea... I think it would be cool if we could do something a bit more casual.

Perhaps we could do something like two gangs, one led by L and one led by Light (since we really don't have a Mello, as you said). Honestly, I've been thinking about making another account so I can Roleplay with my OC, and I might make L do that too, (because L's OC is awesome) and anyone else who wants to! So yeah, I'm thinking West side, East side gangs and all that cool stuff, yanno, pin strip suits, the sleek cars, all that jazz. I just love the whole look of 1920s gangs, they were slick and cool, unlike the... Yeah. Of today. (not that I like gangs... Haha)
