Everything here is completely out of character. Say what ever you want, 's long as you're not spamming or anything...
This is the most adorable thing I have ever seen:

Doesn't it? XD I feel kind of bad for laughing, but at the same time, I don't. DDDD: That music.....it lies. It is fitting and makes him sound more like he's crying. It......almost is like it highlights how he's gone insane.

I seriously cry when I watch it. Even when I see that scene alone, it's sad that just makes it unbearable... You know how happy he could have been had he not picked up that Death Note? It's mostly L's fault he went insane...

Not only would he have been happy, he would have been extremely successful if he hadn't picked it up, with a normal life, job, and family. :T Even though they didn't really show it, his family suffered greatly from his finding of the death note.

For one, his father died, and Sayu suffered severely from the Mafia incident (well, that was Mello's fault but it all traces back to Light...). Light died at the end, and left Sayu and his mother alone with the thought to ponder for the rest of their lives that their son/brother was Kira and had caused the whole incident. As much as I really would want to do what Light did with the Death Note, I can't see how it really manipulated him so far into it that he didn't mind hurting his family because you can tell during the Yotsuba arc that he cares deeply about them...

This raises the question of whether the task force even told Light's family that he was kira. I can't remember if they did, but if not, can you imagine how it would feel to be told that your brother or son died and not be given an explanation as to why? I doubt they could even see the body. And while His father is alive, if you compare pictures of him from earlier in the manga to pictures later in the series, you can see the physical toll the case takes on him, and how the stress ages him.

The only character in the task force who doesn't seem to age dramatically is Matsuda, hell only knows why. I'd rather not know why my son died than know that he was Kira... but you would always want to know, then when you did you would wish you didn't. Light really had it coming to him the whole time, but it's always there to wonder how it would have been if L/Near/Mello wouldn't have stepped in and tried to fix it. He might have never gone insane, I think the stress that L and the other Wammy's placed on his is what made him crack.

Light Yagami was already a bit twisted in the beginning of the series prior to most stressful events. The choice was his alone when he picked up that notebook and decided to ruin his life. He should have known that what he did was a crime and there were going to be people coming after him. Everything was based on his own decision. His state of being could have been saved had he not used the Death Note to be a horrid criminal.

What ever you say L. I still don't think he was a criminal in any sence of the word. He did the exact opposite of what any criminal would do, he tried to fix the world.

You can never fully fix the world. Humans choose to be criminals, just like Light did. You can never get rid of evil. He was nothing more than an insane criminal, and he deserved to be brought to justice.

You deserve to be brought to justice for unrightfully stalking people, L! I have no comebacks to what you said besides: Opinions are only your best friend.
So... has anyone seen Code Geass? :3

The evil present in the world will always balance out the good. Its....a neverending battle of sorts. You can try and fix the world, but no matter what you do, the balance will continue shifting.
I've never seen Code Geass. What's it about?

... THANK you Light, my cover is BLOWN *jumps out a window*
I talked to L today about turning this forum into a PW (Persistent Word) which, if you don't know what a PW is, is an area (in this case, Earth) where all the players live, and interact with one single timeline binding them. Here are some things that we can look forward if we decide to go through with this plan:
A hopeful uptake in new members, and forum activity
Well, not really, but as I said in a previous post, we are number one if you Google 'Death Note RPG'. Pretty big feat, don't you think?
For awhile, the description was blabbering about 'Top 100 Game Sites' or some nonsense, but it's gone now.
*aww*
